When you contact us through the site, by email, by phone or by WhatsApp, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, contact details, and the details of your enquiry, such as the destination, dates, party size and budget you have in mind.

When you browse the site, we collect limited technical information through analytics, described in our cookie notice: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. This is aggregate and not used to identify you personally.

To respond to your enquiry and to advise you on charter, sale or owner services: to prepare a shortlist, arrange the details, and manage the relationship through to completion. To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.

Your information is handled internally by the Balthazar team. We do not share it with third parties for their own commercial use.

To operate, we rely on a small number of technical service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: an analytics provider, an email delivery provider, a client-communication platform, and our hosting provider. They process data only to provide their service to us, never for their own purposes.

Where delivering a charter, sale or owner-services engagement requires it, the relevant details are shared only with the parties involved in that specific engagement, and only to the extent needed to deliver it.

We keep enquiry information for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which it is deleted unless an active engagement requires us to retain it, or the law requires otherwise.

You may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to compliance@balthazaryachting.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
