What to expect.
The Middle East yacht charter season is anchored on Dubai, our flagship destination and the base from which our service was built. The region extends west to Abu Dhabi and along the Gulf coastline, with a main season from October to April: calm water, light and predictable winds, and short passages between the marinas. In summer, cruising in Dubai continues in the early morning and the evening, and we operate there all year.
Dubai carries most of the charter activity, and our page on yacht charter in Dubai sets out the formats, the season and the fleet, with dedicated pages for corporate events and yacht events on the water, and for buyers yachts for sale in Dubai. Day and evening cruising run from Dubai Marina along Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab approach, and Dubai Harbour, with direct sea access, takes the larger yachts. Abu Dhabi is the counterpart to the west: yacht charter in Abu Dhabi centres on Yas Marina and the Saadiyat coast, with the conservation island of Sir Bani Yas on a longer route. The two are a half-day passage apart.
The season tightens around a handful of weeks. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, in late November or early December, fills Yas Marina, and we secure trackside berths there for our clients; our Dubai fleet can reposition for the race weekend, and many yachts come in from Europe. The Dubai International Boat Show, held at Dubai Harbour in late November in 2026, UAE National Day on 2 December and the year-end holidays bring the peak of demand in Dubai. Outside those weeks the Gulf is consistent and uncrowded.

- Dubai International and Al Maktoum airports are the gateways, a short transfer from Dubai Marina and Dubai Harbour; Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport is a short drive from Yas Marina. The advisor arranges the transfer to the yacht.
- What does a Middle East yacht charter cost?
- Charters in the Gulf are quoted to the yacht, the time at sea and the date. As a guide, a private charter on a 33-metre yacht in Dubai starts from around USD 4,500, and Grand Prix week and the busiest dates of the season sit above that. Everything is set out in the same proposal before you confirm.
- Can a Middle East charter extend beyond the Gulf?
- Within the region, yes: Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas and the Gulf coastline are within reach for multi-day routes, and the Musandam peninsula in Omani waters is a full day from Dubai, with the border clearance arranged in advance. The Maldives and the Seychelles lie six to eight days' passage away, so guests usually fly there and join a yacht based in those waters.
