The show now opens the Dubai season rather than closing it: five days in late November, a week before National Day and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The 32nd Dubai International Boat Show runs from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 November 2026 at Dubai Harbour, the marina between Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina. For years a spring fixture, the show has moved to November, and its organisers have said it will stay there. For clients, that changes the shape of the season. The largest marine event in the region now sits at the start of the Dubai winter, in the same fortnight as the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, UAE National Day and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
What the Dubai International Boat Show is
Organised by Dubai World Trade Centre, the show is the principal meeting of the yachting world in the Middle East: shipyards, brokers, designers, captains and buyers. The organisers expect more than 1,000 brands, more than 200 boats and yachts on display, more than 60 launches and around 32,000 visitors over five days. The display runs from tenders and sport boats in the Marina Display to the large yachts moored along Superyacht Avenue, with lifestyle, equipment, diving and innovation areas ashore.
It is a different show from Monaco. The Monaco Yacht Show is given over almost entirely to superyachts; Dubai covers the whole market, and its audience is regional. Owners and buyers come from the Emirates, Saudi Arabia and across the Gulf, and many keep their yachts in Dubai all year. It is where shipyards present new models to that market, and where much of the region's buying and chartering for the winter is settled.
Viewing a yacht on Superyacht Avenue is by appointment with the exhibitor. As in Monaco, the useful work happens before the show: a shortlist, a diary and the right introductions.
Buying or selling during the show
For a client looking to acquire, the show is the most efficient week of the year to see yachts side by side in the water, from new models to brokerage yachts already lying in Dubai. Your advisor works the exhibitor list against your brief beforehand: size, layout, range, builder, and whether the yacht will stay in Dubai or cruise further. Two or three considered viewings a day, with time to compare between them, serve better than trying to see everything.
At each viewing, your advisor asks what decides a purchase: maintenance history, engine hours, crew retention and, for a yacht that will charter, its record. Owners thinking of selling use the week as well, because the buyers are in town. See yacht sales and yachts for sale.
A yacht for show week
The show's hours shape the week. It opens at 15:00 each day, which leaves the mornings for the water: a cruise along Palm Jumeirah to the Burj Al Arab, a swim stop at anchor, lunch on deck, and back for the afternoon. The evenings after closing are the other moment, with the coastline lit and dinner served on board.
Many clients use a yacht that week as a private venue for the people they have come to see. The aft deck of a well-run yacht is a quiet place to continue a conversation begun on the quay, and a crew who manage arrivals, catering and tenders let the host concentrate on the guests. Availability is the constraint. Much of Dubai Harbour is given over to the display fleet during the show, and demand for yachts rises across the city in the same fortnight, with the Grand Prix a week later. How we prepare a client's visit

We prepare each client's week in advance: the brief first, then the appointments, the passes, the yacht if there is one, and the transfers. One advisor holds the whole schedule, attends the viewings with you and gives a straight read on each afterwards.
Practical notes for 2026
- Dates and hours. Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 November 2026. Open from 15:00 to 20:00 on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and from 15:00 to 21:00 on Friday and Saturday.
- Venue. Dubai Harbour, between Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina. A new bridge from Sheikh Zayed Road and a multi-storey car park are due to open before the show.
- Access. Tickets are sold online through the organiser's ticketing partner, with VIP and Privé lounges on site. Visits aboard the yachts on display are by appointment with the exhibitor, arranged through your broker.
- Getting there. Both Dubai airports are within about an hour by road. Show evenings are busy on the roads around the harbour; clients staying on board, on the Palm or in Dubai Marina avoid most of it.
- Where to stay. Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and JBR are closest. Late November is high season and rates rise with the show and National Day, so book early.
Three weeks, five dates
The move to November has put the region's main events into a single run:
