Private yacht rental in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is an island city, and it shows its best side from the water. From a yacht, the capital reads as a sequence of set pieces: the towers of the Corniche, the Emirates Palace on its headland, the dome of the Louvre Abu Dhabi over the water at Saadiyat, and Yas Island to the east with its marina and its circuit. Between them lie calm, shallow waters, sandbanks and quiet islands that most visitors never see, and a private yacht rental in Abu Dhabi reaches them within hours.
Our Abu Dhabi charters are run by the same team that has operated in Dubai since 2012, with our own crews. The yachts come from our UAE fleet and are positioned in Abu Dhabi for your dates, so the choice is the whole fleet's, not only what happens to be in port. Most charters leave from Yas Marina, and other departure points in the city can be arranged.
Abu Dhabi from the water
The Corniche. The city's long waterfront, its towers set back behind beaches and gardens, is the classic view of the capital, and the late afternoon light suits it best.
Emirates Palace and Saadiyat. At the western end of the Corniche, the Emirates Palace stands on its own headland. Across the water to the north-east, the Louvre Abu Dhabi sits at the edge of Saadiyat Island beneath its great dome, and the island's long natural beach runs on beyond it.
Yas Island. East of the city, Yas Marina lies inside the Yas Marina Circuit, with the track running around the water, and the waterfront of Yas Bay is close by. It is the usual departure point for an Abu Dhabi charter, and on race weekend the yachts in the marina follow the Grand Prix from the water.
Sandbanks and islands. Off the city, the water is shallow and clear, and sandbanks show at low tide: the setting for a swim stop and lunch at anchor, chosen by the captain for the tide and the wind.
Sir Bani Yas. A long day's cruise to the west, Sir Bani Yas holds a wildlife reserve created by Sheikh Zayed, where Arabian oryx roam the island. It is the classic destination of a charter of several days, with nights at anchor along the way.
How clients use the water
A few hours at sea. A morning or an afternoon along the Corniche and Saadiyat, a swim stop off a sandbank, lunch on deck.
Sunset and evening. The late afternoon light on the skyline, then an evening cruise past the illuminated city with dinner served on board.
Private occasions. Birthdays, anniversaries and family gatherings, with catering, decoration and service arranged beforehand.

Grand Prix week at Yas Marina
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix closes the Formula 1 season at Yas Marina Circuit, from 4 to 6 December 2026. Because the marina lies inside the circuit, a yacht on its quay watches the race from the water. We secure berths on the trackside quay, the whole Dubai fleet can reposition to Yas Marina, and many yachts come from Europe for the race. It is the most demanding week of the year for yachts in Abu Dhabi: the berths and the best yachts are committed first, so the earlier the request, the wider the choice.
Between Abu Dhabi and Dubai
The two cities are a few hours apart by sea, and many clients use both. A charter can start in Dubai and end in Abu Dhabi, or the reverse, and our Middle East page sets out the wider region. It is also how many clients approach the Grand Prix: a week that begins with the Dubai International Boat Show and ends at Yas Marina.
The season and its dates
The season runs from October to April, when the water is calm and the days warm without the summer heat; summer charters run too, planned around the heat, with early starts and evenings at sea. Late 2026 brings the capital's busiest weeks: the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show from 19 to 22 November, the Dubai International Boat Show from 25 to 29 November, UAE National Day on 2 December, and the Grand Prix from 4 to 6 December.
