Corporate events on the water
Dubai's corporate calendar is full of ballrooms and rooftop terraces. A yacht is the setting guests remember: a closed guest list, the coastline from the Marina towers to the Burj Al Arab, and time to talk away from the next meeting. For client hospitality especially, a few hours at sea say more about a relationship than another dinner in town.
Balthazar Yachting has operated in Dubai since 2012, with our own crews and an office in Business Bay. Companies work with a single advisor from the brief to the debrief, and the event runs to their standards, not to a package.
Formats
Client hospitality. A morning or an evening on board with the clients who matter most: a cruise along Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab, lunch or dinner served on deck, and time to talk away from the office.
Leadership and board days. A working session in the main salon, lunch at anchor, a swim stop, then the return at sunset. A change of setting that keeps the focus on the agenda.
Team building at sea. A day on the water for a team: water sports from the yacht, a swim stop, a long lunch at anchor and the skyline on the way back. For larger teams, several yachts can sail together on the same programme.
Incentive programmes. For groups travelling to Dubai as a reward, a morning at sea or a sunset cruise arranged within the wider programme and timed with the agency or the travel team.
Delegates and trade weeks. Companies in Dubai for a conference or a trade week host their key guests on board in the evening, after the day's sessions.
Around the calendar
Dubai's busiest weeks are also its best for hosting. Companies attending the Dubai International Boat Show from 25 to 29 November 2026, or entertaining at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from 4 to 6 December, use a yacht as their private venue for the week. Year-end is the other peak, with client evenings and team celebrations through December. For those dates, the earlier the brief, the wider the choice of yachts.

- branding on board, within the yacht's guidelines;
- screens and sound for a presentation or a speech;
- water sports and a swim stop for team days;
- music, photography and video;

- The brief. The date, the number of guests and what the event is for.
- The shortlist. Within the hour, the yachts that fit, with a straight view on each.
- The programme. Timings, route, menu and set-up, agreed with your team in writing.
- On the day. One person in charge of the event, so your team can host rather than organise.
Choosing the yacht
The right yacht depends on the number of guests and the programme. A flybridge yacht suits a small group of senior clients; a larger yacht offers open decks for a reception, an indoor salon for a working session and the crew to serve a large group properly.
