The yard
Sunseeker has built motor yachts on the harbour at Poole, on England's south coast, since 1969. The yard made its name with fast, deep-V sport cruisers and still builds every yacht in England. Its range runs from 50 feet to the 161 Yacht, a 49-metre tri-deck, and its yachts are among the most traded on the brokerage market, which keeps values transparent and gives buyers a wide choice at every size.
The models buyers look for
The Predator line is the sport yacht: low profile, open cockpit, speed. The Manhattan line adds a flybridge and the volume of a family yacht. Above 86 feet, the Yacht range moves into superyacht territory, with crew quarters, a raised pilothouse on the larger models and interiors finished to order. In Dubai, the 86 to 131 Yacht models are the ones buyers ask for most: enough length for the Gulf's short seas, enough deck for entertaining.
Buying a Sunseeker
Sunseeker yachts are built in composite, and a close look at the hull, the gelcoat and the teak decks tells a great deal. The engine package matters: MAN and MTU installations are common, and their hours and service history set much of the price. We attend viewings with you, read the records, arrange an independent survey and follow the sea trial. A yacht that has chartered carries a record of how it has been run.
