The ferries land the crowds through the middle of the day and take them off again by evening, so a Capri charter inverts that rhythm: the Blue Grotto and the Marina Grande waterfront early, the Faraglioni and the quieter southern coves through the busy hours, and the town in the late afternoon once the last hydrofoil has gone. The window matches the wider southern Italian season, mid-May through early October. June and September are the quieter months; mid-July to mid-August is the busiest period for the Faraglioni anchorage and the inner coves. Most owners run a yacht charter off Capri as part of an Amalfi Coast week, pairing the island with Positano and Praiano to the south or extending north toward Ischia and the Pontine islands.
