The yard
Benetti has built yachts in Viareggio since 1873, and some of the most recognisable superyachts of the last fifty years left its sheds. Today the yard works on two levels. The Class range covers composite yachts from 37 to 50 metres, built in series on proven platforms. The Custom division builds in steel and aluminium from 50 metres to more than 100, each to an owner's specification. Both carry the same signature: tall, light interiors, large aft decks and a hull that moves comfortably at sea.
The models buyers look for
In Dubai, the demand sits on the 37 to 50 metre Class yachts: Delfino, Mediterraneo, Oasis and the earlier Classic and Vision series. The Oasis deck, which opens the aft of the yacht to the water with a pool and fold-down terraces, has changed what buyers expect from a yacht of that size. Larger Custom yachts come to the market more rarely and are followed by buyers worldwide.
Buying a Benetti
A Benetti is a complex yacht, and its value lies in how it has been kept. We look at the maintenance programme, the engine and generator hours, the age of the main systems, the condition of the paintwork and the record of any refit. A yacht that has chartered shows a well-kept logbook and a crew that knows it. Our advisors attend each viewing, brief an independent surveyor and follow the sea trial, and the survey's findings shape the negotiation.
Keeping a Benetti in Dubai
Superyachts of this size need a berth in one of the city's larger marinas, a full crew and a management plan. We arrange all three, and many owners charter the yacht during the Gulf season. For other builders, see yachts for sale in Dubai.
