The yard
Ferretti Yachts was founded in 1968 by the brothers Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti and became the first name of the group that now also builds Riva, Pershing, Custom Line, CRN and Wally. Its own range has stayed faithful to one idea: the flybridge motor yacht, from 50 to 100 feet, built in composite on Italy's Adriatic coast. The brokerage market for Ferretti is one of the deepest in the Mediterranean, and the yachts travel well to the Gulf.
The models buyers look for
The range is named by length: Ferretti 500 to Ferretti 1000, the latter a 30-metre yacht with a full-beam owner's suite and a flybridge the size of a terrace. The Infynito line, launched in 2023, adds a long-range yacht with a forward lounge and a slower, more economical hull. In Dubai, the 780 to 1000 models draw the most interest: enough volume for guests, a flybridge for the sunset, a crew of two or three.
Buying a Ferretti
A Ferretti is a well-understood yacht, and its value sits in its care. We read the service history of the engines and generators, look at the gelcoat, the teak and the air conditioning, and check the record of any refit or repower. Yachts shipped from the Mediterranean carry a different history from yachts kept in the Gulf, and we read both. An independent survey and a sea trial precede any commitment.
